Math Trail Mix Party

We had our trail mix party for learning multiplication facts. Each set of facts were a different thing to add to our trail mix.

Math Tournament

Today we had a math tournament in class. We played strategy games. We has a single elimination tournament. We played Danger Zone, Super Danger Zone, Hex, Anti Tic Tac Toe, and Divide a Dozen. This was a fun way to unwind after the week of testing. Champions were- Hallie, Ryan, Julia, Cameron, Haley, Sydney, Ava, and Agata.

Getting ready for the STAAR test

The third grade teachers wanted to encourage the students in a fun way.  We put together songs for the students and performed them at lunch everyday last week.

We had a poetry reading day on Wednesday.  We read our poems that we wrote about spring.
