Restaurant
Tropical Deli was a creation of Mrs. Emmett's classroom. We designed, organized, and operated a fully functioning restaurant. We learned how to interview for jobs, train, and work in a real restaurant setting.
We opened our Tropical Deli today. We served over 50 people and raised 192.75 for the Red Cross.

Chocolate Touch
We are reading Chocolate Touch and made a Rap video about Chocolate!
Rain Forest Exhibit
The whole school came to see our Rain Forest. We researched the rain forest, created a diorama, made a costume, and wrote speeches about the rain forest. We divided into groups and taught the information learned to other Donald students. We learned about plants, animals, location and resources, people, and saving the rain forest.

Rain forest costumes:
The hat reminds us that Brazil has the largest number of rain forests.
Our thermometer reminds us that the average temperature is 75 to 80 degrees.
Our rain stick reminds us that a rain forest has to have at least 68 of rain a year.
Our flower reminds us that the only rain forest in the US is in Hawaii.
